Cycle Syncing : Living According To The Season Of Your Cycle You Find Yourself In
As we are entering into the month of June, dedicated to The Humble Sacred Heart of Jesus, I am reminded of the time I prayed a novena to Saint Therese of Lisieux. I asked Saint Therese to send me a red rose, as a sign that my prayers were being heard. Saint Therese is known for sending roses, to those who pray for her intercession.
“After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth. I will raise up a mighty host of little saints.” - Saint Therese of Lisieux
The novena ends, and Saint Therese’s feast day (October 1st) rolls around. I hadn’t received a rose yet, so I asked her with disappointment, “Where is my rose?” I had a busy day and was exhausted by the end of it, but I wanted to go to Mass that night, for Saint Therese’s feast day; and it also being the first Friday devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus. At Mass, after receiving Holy Communion, I heard Jesus tell me in the depths of my soul “Your red rose is My Sacred Heart, the delight of all delights.”
After Mass was over, I went to light a candle and kneel to say a prayer in front of the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue. I looked down, and to my surprise, I saw red roses directly underneath the statue of Jesus.
Now every time I see a red rose, I think of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, bleeding drops of red blood to save me. Isn’t that the goal of the intercession of The Saints? To lead us to God? Isn’t that what all of creation is supposed to do? Make us think of God?
I asked one of The Lord’s precious Saints to send me a red rose, and she sent me God’s Sacred Heart; which was strewn with thorns, for my sake. For the best red rose I could ever get, is the Bleeding Red Heart of The Lord.
Blessed be God and His Saints.
Saint Therese of Lisieux, pray for us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have Mercy upon us.
