Storytelling of love Divine
Corpus Christ, Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ
Catholics revere this feast day each time we receive Holy Communion.
The Body and Blood of Christ comes into us,
changed from the host and wine in the chalice.
Adoration and love for Christ should be our response.
How is our faith moved forward, “yes how, Lord?”
Questions, seeking ways, are individual.
Family love embraces open arms and hearts.
Christ-like love seeks to do good toward all.
Love leaves evil and hate behind.
We humans can only endeavor to be Christ-like.
Trying on a daily, even hourly basis we need prayer.
By ourselves we are weak.
“Come into our lives, Lord; lead us;
Our mouths, our hands, we lift upward.
Feed us with your love .”
