The Poorest of the Poor
Beware of the Serpent, the most cunning of all the animals.
The familiar sentence in chapter three of Genesis. A very good choice to use when describing the entity that brings temptation into humanity's struggle against sin. It is almost as though each time we make a step in unknown territory there may be the danger of stepping on its head. A cautionary note for all to hear, this perpetrator of evil lurks just around the next turn in life.
What absolutely is happening today focuses on the evil that exists in elementary classrooms, at least for now in California. As I mentioned in another article sex education is being handed to young children, just emerging from puberty. Most hardly know much about the proper manner in which this biological existence should be given through their parents, are learning the depths of degradation to what God meant for procreation and married parents to use discretion in their handing on this vital part of marriage. These perpetrators have taken a perfectly holy institution and have made sex a filthy act and are making all aspects of its glorious entity into an act so evil that these children will enter adulthood confused about it.
Tonight, Wednesday, May 17, on Fox News Tonight, a report regarding the publications too graphic to be shown, are being given to I believe 5th graders. The pictures with explanations are printed to direct the eyes towards pornagraphic illusions that will leave an imprint on the children's minds. We know that pornography has become a multi-billion dollar business that has the viewing pleasure of many adults. But here children, younger than 12 years of age, are getting the same addiction without even realizing the damage being created in their very young minds.
This must stop, and if the “Powers That Be” will not take steps to eliminate this we shall create a future of evil minded offspring who won’t even know right from wrong.
Censorship is a wrong manner to use in any endeavor that threatens the innocent with obscenities that might destroy their learned attitudes towards decency, filial love, and the difference between right and wrong. The reason to be strict on using censorship can be devastating to all of us. In the Third Reich, bibles were burned as a rule of censorship. It becomes a catch 22 if we pass laws to eliminate one book, all books will fall under its control.
Mark’s Gospel uses one manner of sin connected partially with sex. “But what comes out of a person, that is what defiles. From within people, from, their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile.” (Mk 7: 20 - 23).
We don’t know how much misdirection was passed on to young children, during the early years of Christianity, and before. But Jesus was very stern. “If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me, to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Mt 18: 6). Of course this also applied to the apostles or those who were significant or the leaders of the new way. But this passage followed Jesus telling the apostles they must become like little children. Again, the minds of children are innocent, and those that place thoughts with an evil intent into their minds are already placing their souls in jeopardy. But that doesn’t solve our current dilemma. We must fight to protect these young children and do what may be necessary to achieve it.
