I Thirst
It’s July. The dog days of summer are upon us. No school. Workers still must go to their 9-5 duties. Kids are enjoying a full month off while venturing to camp, beach, or other coveted summer activities.
July also marks Independence Day in the USA. Three years away from a quarter of a millennium. It also marks 160 years since the Battles of Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863) and Vicksburg (May 18th-July 4th, 1863).
Later in the month millions of pilgrims will gather in Lisbon for World Youth Day. Be sure to pray for all of those who will be traveling for this global event.
The month continues to award with so many amazing feast days and novenas for us to pray. Here is a breakdown of saints, blessed, and important dates we will be celebrating throughout the month dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus. Some include a beloved Italian who evangelize through outdoor excursions, two apostles, and women who were close to Jesus in his three years of public ministry.
