Look beyond the darkness of evil
AI and the Bible
Artificial Intelligence and the rapid progression of technology that is becoming our future, for better or worse. Lately a spokesperson for the increased ability of AI within our current and immediate society will have changes we never dreamed would occur. His latest prophecy is the probability that this new scientific incursion will be the holy bible rearranged to match a modern remake of what is written and believed for centuries. Now most of us who adhere to the Word of God, the Incarnation of Christ and his suffering for humanity’s salvation will never need change to savor a machine's uncontrolled technology that is far beyond human adherence to the Truth of God.
Even when using a computer to type an article of a document you will notice how the script you typed suddenly makes a correction to the grammar you’ve put in the sentence. That is good when we are preparing a correct pronunciation for a teaching that will sound correct and accepted to the listening audience. However, we already see how this intelligence will work in the future efforts of taking a recognized work as the bible and rearranging almost all of the books of the bible including those of the Apocrypha (those excluded because of Jewish prohibitions).
What is going to be a mixed idea of which bible edition to follow will be a crisis for those who already do not adhere to current biblical standards. There are already too many fall away Christinas who do not concern themselves with God and his church and wouldn’t be concerned as to what they should believe. A bible that could become an artificially changed manuscript would not resemble the plan Almighty God instituted for man’s redemption and the very question of why and how he accomplished these attributes.
For those of us who were raised on past biblical norms and their children now growing up with these attributes would become the last humans to know about God, the Holy Trinity and how Jesus died and rose for all of us. There is no way to even imagine how an artificial intelligence that does not understand human emotions, love for a God we have never seen, and the consequences of sin which machines cannot comprehend. An operating electronic piece of engineering made of nuts and bolts, and electronic atoms could never relate to human aspirations, feelings, and the ability to love one another as each of us has the capability to equate.
Living within the period of machines from the stone age has been a plus for humanity. But each new machine, the discovery of electricity, the light bulb, and air travel still need the intuition of man’s control to ensure proper use without damaging other people and the world around us. Leaving the future of humanity under the guidance of machines alone will eventually destroy what God meant for his children. Technology is great, and we owe all of that to the searching and experiential adherence to pioneers in their respective fields. But without the grace of God and the common sense of human aspirations and their ability to be the captains in each new endeavor, we would not have even reached where we are today.
