Why must I go to Church? Isn't my being good enough?
Finding the Grace of God within our most Ardent Subjection!
Whenever the opportunity to search something in a subjective manner we usually are looking to control the outcome in our interest. Seeking God’s objectivity in the very examination we are seeking may have a different outcome to our expectations.
The interest we may have regarding God’s Grace, its effect on our spirit, and how we shall respond to the outcome of the Spirit’s personal touch, will in fact be the result of God’s deep interest in our souls.
Grace is a term with more than acting as a noun of adverb depending on the use we portray its presence. Many people address this entity of God that he gives freely to those who ask for it before the prayers are formulated within our hearts. We don’t always know what to ask for when a crisis confronts us or someone we care about. Only the Holy Spirit knows what is needed at all times, and with supernatural power grants to those who are in dire need in any situation that may come upon us.
We must remember that the one blessing that God constantly gives to each of us is that very deep essence called grace. From Psalm 127; “Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build. Unless the Lord guard the city, in vain does the guard keep watch. It is vain for you to rise early and put off your rest at night, to eat bread earned by hard toil, all this God gives to his beloved in sleep.” (Ps 127: 1 -2).
How often we become the recipients of grace and respond with exceeding thanks never realizing what just happened. Call it grace and know where it came from, the watchtower of love.
God has become our watchman as he takes care of all we need. This is grace given to us with passionate love, seeking to be there before we know what may appear in our life. In scripture the watchman is always on the lookout for adversarial enemies and warns the people. God is that watchman as well as he constantly is on the look for the enemy’s attack on our soul and diverts sin before it surrounds us.
It is not always grace that touches our vision but it is grace that touches and corales our very souls. More often we may be the witness to the result of grace in someone else and the Spirit will point it out in a way that touches our own sense with grace.
There may be times when prayer just seems to elude us. Two specific prayers that can be used when speaking with God; Most important is our thanks, for everything we have and will be getting before we ask. The second is to ask God for his grace on us and those we pray for. If you only use these two that will be enough during a dry time.
