Life-Giving Love : Musings On Fertility

Out amongst the trees in nature, seeing the fertile soil that springs forth great beauty; I am reminded of the fertility that I hold as a woman. For as flowers blossom forth from the earth, life can spring forth from within me. To be the vessel of life, what an honor, a privilege bestowed upon us women. The fertile earth, freely allows its bounty to flow through, and bloom. Life-giving love is all I want as a woman. Love without limits, complete openness to life, Trinitarian love made manifest earth-side; husband, wife, and child. Love is freely given and freely received, without blockage, without barrier. Life-giving love; the love that allows God to create His most beautiful work. How can one stop The Ultimate Artist from His artistry?

The fertile earth blocks not what springs forth, lest a fertile woman blocks life blossoming forth in her womb? To be a woman, the vessel of life, is the greatest honor. Love to be real must flow freely, without restraint.

Birth control and contraceptives are the antithesis of life-giving love. Love must be given in fullness and wholehearted surrender. Half-hearted love does not reflect the heart of The Savior, who gave His life freely and totally for our sake. For true love is a reflection of The Holy Trinity, The Ultimate Life-Giving Love; who from which springs forth every good and beautiful thing.

True love is a love letter to The Trinity, a free-flowing melody to Heaven, with openness to receiving all of its great gifts. For as the earth freely lets the harvest spring forth, so shall a woman freely let The Father blossom her womb with life. Fertility isn't only physical but spiritual as well. As women, our relationship with Christ allows us to be spiritually fertile and bring forth good holy fruit. Our capacity to birth and nurture beauty spiritually depends upon our feminine surrender to The Lord. As in the feminine surrender to a man, a woman can bring forth life, in the spirit feminine surrender to The Lord can bring forth eternal life.

Life-giving love is all I want as a woman. May God grant me the capacity to bring forth life-giving love in all its forms.
