Jesus will never give up on you
An Alabama defrocked priest is still on the run with a teenager he has groomed to be his lover. Alex Crow, 30-years old, has fled the United States with a teenager he wrote a love letter to shortly after she turned 18-years old. Crow and the teenager are in Italy hiding from American investigators.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch told news outlets that it is believed the 18-year-old he is with at this time is not the only underage girl he has groomed. Police say he is believed to have groomed other underage girls before fleeing to Italy. Burch told Fox Nation’s “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” that they are aware of at least one other underage girl who was groomed by the priest and the girl was best friends with the one currently accompanying Crow.
Crow, a priest obsessed with demonology and exorcisms, is believed to have left America for Italy to perform exorcisms. The Archdiocese of Mobile released a statement declaring Fr. Alex Crow defrocked. Crow had served as priest in the Archdiocese since June 2021 and was currently assigned to Corpus Christi Parish. It is at the parish where the priest met the teenager.
The statement, according to AL.com, says, “Fr. Alex Crow abandoned his assignment in the Archdiocese. His behavior is totally unbecoming of a priest. He has been informed by the archbishop that he may no longer exercise ministry as a priest, nor to tell people he is a priest, nor to dress as a priest.” Although the girl he is traveling with in Italy is 18-years old, investigators believe the love affair started several years before the girl was 18.
Police recently released the letter Crow wrote to the girl on Valentine’s Day this year. According to Fox10TV.com, it reads:
“Dear ******* (name withheld for protection of the child),
As I write this I’m still experiencing eye dilation, so I apologize if this is hard to read. I can barely read what I’m writing as I do this. Ha!
First things first: I love you, and I thank Jesus for you every day. You have made my life both astronomically more complicated and incredibly better at the same time. You are his gift to me.
Before we fell in love, I promised to always care for you and protect you, like a father. I still look at you and see a child, but in the best way imaginable. You are mine – no one else’s, and I will always be a father to you until I die.
Now, we are in love and we are married! I’ve never been in love before (and I’ve never been married, obviously!), and I’ve never felt any of the feelings I have for you for anyone ever in my entire life. I promise that I will love you the absolute best I can, every single day.
I’m sorry I cannot give you a ‘normal’ Valentines Day this year. I wanted to do nothing more than buy you flowers but for fear of scandal I couldn’t. I almost stole some from the Mary statue but there were too many people around. The chocolates were given to me by Miogron (ha). She took a few before giving them to me hence the ones that are missing. I hope you like the others though!
I know you want to make out so I’ll bring this to a close. When we are together, with our family in Italy (!!!), we will have so many wonderful and normal Valentines Days, but for now: Happy Valentines Day.
You are the prettiest girl who has ever lived, and I will always tell you that. You are perfect, and precious and, besides Jesus, the most wonderful thing I’ve ever seen or held in my two hands. I will always love you.
Sincerely, Your Valentine and Husband!
Alex
PS: You’re cute”
The letter states the two have been married and they are having a relationship that is inappropriate between a priest and a teenager. The parish has posted a social media post asking that parishioners pray for the priest. All Catholics and Christians should pray for the priest and for the teenager. It is important to remember that regardless of the crime an individual has committed, the person’s soul is more important than the sin.
We must remember that Satan is always trying to attack the Church from within because that is the most effective way to destroy the Church. He attempted to destroy the Church when Judas betrayed Jesus. He attempted to destroy the Church before it even began when he tempted Jesus in the desert. He tempts us. He tempts priests. He tempts pastors. He dangles the carrot of sin in front of all of us. We must pray for the protection of the Church, Christians, and especially our clergy against Satan’s tactics of destruction.
