Promoting the Sanctity of Life and the Sanctity of Marriage/Family/Human Sexuality (Pentecost Sunday update)
Your Eminence:
I am embarrassed upon learning details of what is being presented as a victory for religious freedom.
In 2014, Ms Crisitello was fired from her teaching job at St Theresa's in Kenilworth. She was pregnant and not yet married.
While the Archdiocese is right to insist upon moral behavior being exemplified by its teachers, there was also plenty of room for mercy. Ms Crisitello should receive back pay.
It appears that you are not as sensitive to the sanctity of pre born human life as most of the New Jersey Catholics whom I know from pro life circles. Your mercy in this situation would speak volumes.
Sincerely,
Joseph Tevington
