9/11 Prayer

Dear Lord:

I pray for my brothers and sisters.

I pray for my brothers and sisters whose lives were lost too soon on this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters who volunteered to sacrifice their lives so others may live on this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters who sacrificed their lives so their brother and sister did not die alone on this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters who survived and struggle with the memories of this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters whose families are still affected by this day.

I pray for my family who are survivors of this day.

I pray for America and all my American brothers and sisters who are a beacon of hope to those in mourning on this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters to remember and never forget this day.

I pray for my brothers and sisters to value the dignity of every human life and love their loved ones on this day and every day.

I pray, Lord.
