I am, I said!
Which sin will put us in Hell?
Rhetorically speaking it all depends on which antagonistic group is discussing or acting as agents of protecting others from certain sinful acts.
When anyone is hurt because someone close to them falls into a sinful situation and the act becomes too much for forgiveness or leaves a scarring mark on them then they will become an advocate to condemn them.
Let’s look at some of the recipients betrayed or scandalized by these particular occasions that changed their outlook on moral issues which affected their beliefs toward sin and the sinners.
Sexual involvement that will become a scandal or family disruption causing a breakdown of marriage, position in society, or trust of their own personality. Some of these are, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, or pornography. I did not include pedaphilia since that is a complete evil in itself that must be dealt with in another manner. Of course, that in itself is one that stands as number one on a scale of evil since it hurts children.
Ask those who are affected by the above and create a disruption of family unity and their remarks will be; punish them by sending them to hell. If the damage to a marriage or social position is harsh enough the recipients will spare no mercy and will wait until God punishes them to their satisfaction.
Perhaps the people who have been taken advantage of by cyber-stealing, cheating financially a close friend, or creating a Ponzi scheme wherein many have lost untold millions of dollars. Some people have lost their life-savings never to recover. They cannot wait until the judgment of heaven comes upon them and they pay for what was done to them.
Then we must carefully look at the manner that pride-filled persons who will do whatever is possible to displace peace-filled people who do their best to get ahead. They are honest and those who want to humiliate these respectable persons by stealing the efforts of the righteous people and take credit that belongs to them. These honest people will stand beside the other two groups and petition God to make things right.
Are these to ones who make up the residency of hell? Now, we must put into perspective what hell is about and God’s position in this place of eternal punishment. First, the punishment will be a complete loss of the absence of God from which no one can escape from.
Those who do end there is their own choice, because they do not want God or what he stands for. It isn’t the particular sin that we commit that gives us a one-way ticket to hell. It is the eternal righteousness of God that will keep any of us out of hell because of His endless love for each of us. If we walk with Christ and make him a personal brother or sister and trust in all he has promised, hell will never be our stopping entity in eternity. The sins we commit are from weaknesses we have, but not a condemnation of our soul. Seek God who wants our sins.
