Come Watch Ten Minutes With Me
I was watching a video the other day about just how small we are compared to the size of the universe. There is only one word I can think of to describe the size of the known universe, let alone the size of the unknown universe, and that word is "inconceivable." Did you know that, if the sun were the size of an orange, the earth would be the size of a grain of salt? The entire earth, the twirling, swirling ball that once took Phileas Fogg eighty days to travel 'round is the size of a grain of salt as compared to an orange-sized sun. And God make it all! He made the salt, He made the oranges, He made Jules Verne, the sun, the moon, and the stars.
Next time you pour salt on your eggs or whatever you like to pour salt on, pour a little on your hand. If you can, perch one grain on the end of your finger. Look at it and remind yourself that we are truly in the palm of His hand.
