Five Things Men Need to Stop Doing Now

We are living through hard times. The problem lies on the lack of strong masculinity and men of principle and courage. Why? There are five culprits that are destroying men, yet they can be corrected now. 

Pornography

In a recent article from the New York Post, a study was release and it is alarming when it excessive porn and eating disorder. Additionally, it is also linked to a negative impact on a man’s functioning and well-being. In other words, a man’s mental state is damaged by this dangerous practice. 

Porn has also fueled sex trafficking. Porn is the 3rd most common form of sex trafficking to date. 

Chasing Women without the intention of marriage

Our culture has forgotten the virtue of chastity. Even men are not settling down. Many would rather settle with one night stands as oppose to focusing on one woman or discerning the woman God had in mind for him. 

It also led to many giving mixed signals to women who hope to be married and have children. This needs to be corrected to remind men what the definition of love and marriage are.

Not Exercising

Dr. James DiNicolantonio discussed what happens when we are not building up enough muscle even beyond the age of 40. He stresses the need to lift weights 3 or more times a week. Building muscle is one’s biggest health insurance. Obesity is on the rise in the United States due to the lack of a nutritious lifestyle. 

Some claim that it’s easy to go for the cheapest meal on the menu, yet it is not worth dropping that extra dollar on something that can help obtain nutrients needed to grow the body. 

Poor diet and lack of exercise leads to weight gain. Even men will see it when their testosterone levels suffer greatly without exercise.  

Being Lazy

Men, where are you? Families are on the margins. There is a lack of leadership in education, politics, and many careers. 

Even men are needed to protect the family. The devil is looking for a way to breach a wall. When a man abandons the line that protects the family, the devil will make haste to infiltrate it and cause utter destruction from within.

Children out of wedlock

The root of abortion originates from the misuse of sex. Since the sexual revolution of the late 1960s there has been nearly half of children coming out of a non marital affair. 

It paved the way to a non-traditional household with a father absent or 90% absent from the life of the child. 

We must double our efforts to stop the five above that are destroying our culture and giving way to toxic masculinity. 

Only then can authentic love and true manhood will help society return to great times. It begins when we raise strong and courageous men. Strong and courageous men will get us back to good times.
