In the presence of a Queen
Throughout my life, I have tried to adopt certain sayings like, "God bless this holy day" or " I surrender to you Jesus " or "God willing", To name just a few. As I grow older, I have adapted these words to my daily life, more and more . When I was younger ,The world was mine to have as I pleased. Thinking the time was going to always give me the advantage of doing things "my way", Not realizing it doesn't work that way with g God. God is so gentle, he let us go about our days with the free will of determining that " our way" may not always be "His way".
By saying , "God willing" For instance, Gives me a pc that I am surrendering to whatever may happen with the knowledge that it might not have been good for me, whatever the circumstance. Therefore,Taking the burden off of my heart of dismay that I didn't have it "my way".
God is so all knowing in all things,But my stubborn heart always thinks that my way Is the best way So many times proving that I was so wrong. But in his sweetness to teach me, he allows me to try,,,, and more times than , it surely does not work out as greatly as it would have if I would have just surrendered to "His way" .
It is so true, that God's words of the old testament and then Jesus' words of the new testament are simple and easy if we do just what they say. Who could not love a Father who is patient, gentle, fierce and so knowledgeable?
God thought of everything to provide for us from the very beginning. "Food" to grow from the earth, "day" to help us work, and a "night" to make us rest. Giving us a Mother that is comforting and merciful to run to when our hope seems in the meloncholy toils of our complicated lives, that are produced because of our own will. A Mother who gives us hope and mercy when our Father might have deemed it necessary to teach us a lesson. Ave Maria! Hail to our Queen, our Mother Mary.
I thank God for the years of teaching and learning. That the only thing necessary in this life is to rely on a father and a mother who knows Best and always to catch me if I fall.
I may not be perfect according to this world's standards, but I know in God's eyes I am the perfection he created us all to be. Because He is perfect.
