Let your light shine and support a fundraiser!

Hi, I haven't published anything for awhile up here on Catholic 365! But, I guess I just needed to find something to share about.

Well, "Let your light shine before men." This is a quote from the Gospel! 

How can we do that? 

How about lighting a candle once a day and praying for other Catholics?! Great idea! 

Where can you get a nice Catholic candle?

What's a doula? You maybe asking yourself now. A doula is a professional who offers non-medical support for Catholic mothers either during labor and childbirth or postpartum time frame. 

A short little story here, I had a couple from another state sign up for my childbirth class online and we met one time via zoom and then boom they have their baby the next day - early at 34 weeks! I have become kind of their postpartum virtual support doula since then - answering questions and helping as much as I can from a distance - I figured it was the least I could do since they had paid for the classes! Please pray for their baby!

So, that's kind of what a doula does - she is there for support for a family. I can help long distance like above or I can go in person to a birth or a home and help with things the family needs!
