Why we should use science and faith to live a full life

With medical technology advancing, the average life expectancy has grown as well. This is, of course, a good thing, but unfortunately, it has led many of us to focus on how we can live forever rather than how we might prepare for what comes next.

Since science can protect us permanently, who must worry about getting into Heaven? Although it is good to stay healthy and enjoy life as we can, it is equally important to remind ourselves that science is meant to help our body, but faith helps our souls.

While living on Earth, ideally, we will use both to live a healthy, well-balanced, lifestyle-rounded life. They need not detract from each other but should instead complement each other. God gave us our earthly bodies to use and to live with, but they are meant to be merely vessels that prepare our souls for the next life.

God created all things, and that includes science. We should use our mortality as a reminder to enjoy our blessings on Earth while we are here to the fullest extent. There is no reason why we can not work on preparing our spirits while using science to live a healthy life.
