Our hearts are breaking from the hole of unrest that seeks to be healed

The scene of a broken heart is not possible to see with the naked eye, but within each one there is turmoil erupting all around us.  There is more than one way to tear the strength of a beating heart that never wavers under normal wear.  It is the constant attack of abnormal minds that have become infected with anger at almost every move peaceful people make.  Somehow these unrestful souls who don’t understand the meaning of love are ready to raise the cry of anarchy without any sign of weapons and strike the most vulnerable victims.

Who are they that are under siege at any moment;  the young woman standing alone, and innocent citizens just trying to live their lives honestly and with peace.  The news gets worse every day and the many attackers appear to be young gang members with no view of leaving the innocent alone.  

Many cities have enacted laws prohibiting sales of guns to those unable to legally purchase them, but it is through illegally garnered weapons that murder anyone every night.  Unfortunately there are many proponents that have grown in our society that assist the uneducated, unparented, and unprepared for life with other people.  Just look at the statistics from many school systems where the classic theme of understanding how to speak or even pass simple mathematics in school have dropped to horrible lows in this country.  If the ability to carry on a simple conversation with other people, the failure to even comprehend words of law or simple courtesy to others, becomes a country of illiterates that cannot reason why they are the scourge of society.   

It appears that mental illness is one of the problems and that part of humanity has left institutions and has become a number one failure of leadership.  Another serious enigma is the government’s policy of paying people to stay at home and collect money without ever seeking work.  I guess because I was taught to work if I wanted money to spend, my father said if you want something work for it.  That was sound advice that developed a work ethic.  I don’t believe very many young men today know what that word means.  I speak of the lazy generation, only.

A hole in the heart allows the fullness of grace to escape and without God healing us and adding the Holy Spirit to our existence, we shall all fall under the weight of evil anarchists.  We do not want the reality of a Satanic induced world to become alive standing before our Judeo-Christian community.  But, with all of the madness of rape, killings, and total destruction of everything we have worked for, the obvious of evil all around us will continue to erupt.  

“When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me.  And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.”  (Jn 15: 26 - 27). 

“I have told you this so that you may not fall away.  They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God.  They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me.  I have told you this so that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told you.”  (Jn 16: 1 - 4).

Let us trust in Christ’s words and allow the hole of our hearts to begin to heal.   While we still have our faith let our strength be held together with his Word.
