Being Human
Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
This morning as I gazed up into the cold November sky, I looked up and saw the glowing star to my left and the big full moon to my right. There I stood, and I realized I was in the middle of these 2 beautiful majestic sites and feeling a warmth, as I felt Mary, our Mother to the left and our Loving God to the right. The Star and the Moon.
Comforted by the thought that everything and everyone in between were being watched and guarded by the greatest Power that could ever defend us in a world so full of corruption that Fear tries to hold hostage.
God is our triumph! He loves us though we are weak and stumble daily. The world makes our eyes see sadness and woe, but do we look at once for the beauty and peace that lies down with it? The Lion and the Lamb.
Recalling all of the Good, as the origin of all things can help us not live in fear. God is strength, courage, peace and love. THAT is the origin of all things that breathe. It's easy to get caught up on how bad we feel or the sorrow of the thought of the innocenct suffering. But we must not give in to that sorrow because God is watching. Keeping true desire in our hearts to do good and Love. We are able to go on till He calls us. Sweet visuals of the moon and stars remind me there is a good and loving God protecting His creation, and that I must never falter in my quest for Heaven and that mankind's REAL REWARD is waiting for us all. He never leaves us. We, in our pride, try to accomplish what only "He can". Always remembering that He is the Giver and that we are only His instruments. All that He gives is Pure. It is us, in our sin the taints what 1st began as good.
"Strengthen our faith in you oh God! I surrender wiith my white flag waving high over my head and asking you to help me be a strong soldier for you against the darkness. For in you, there is only light. Illuminate our minds and souls with the brightness of your mercy and grant us true Peace that only you can give. Take away my pride and leave me with only your arms to hold me. Oh Moon and Stars, envelope this weary world with your heavenly Protection. That your Son, Jesus, so lovingly and selflessly Suffered and Died for. With every beat of our hearts and every breath that we take may we praise you oh God in all things, in all ways, in the Moon and the Stars.
