If  You Were Not Listening, You May Have Missed What Is Happening

   We are all individualistic and, therefore are governed by different beliefs and opinions that comprise how these differences affect our thinking and behavior. With that understanding, I am presenting one opinion, which is my own.

   Reflecting on when Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the United States began assisting Ukraine because it was an unprovoked attack, and it was a humanitarian thing to do. On October 7th, HAMAS attacked Israel, again this was a surprise attack and unprovoked, HAMAS spent a couple of years preparing for this attack by building underground tunnels below hospitals and schools using sick and innocent people as shields, which has always been their method of operation.  and storing ammunition. They have stored much equipment, and are being funded by Iran. Yet, we are always hearing about politicians and how they are working to combat this type of terrorism. But with God as our creator, and creator of the world, why are we not hearing how we need to go to Him for His mercy?

   When Israel was ready to retaliate after warning Palestinians to relocate to another area to be out of harm's way, many refused. HAMAS is responsible for killing over 1400 Jews. Many Palestinians have died from Terrorist attacks initiated by Jordan, and there were also attacks from Jordan against our US troops.

As a result, the United States has sent troops to the area. Iran is making threats to Israel and supporting HAMAS while the US is supporting Israel. Russia and Ukraine are still at war, now with North Korea making supportive gestures for Russia, and China is denying their support of Russia, yet evidence seems to point otherwise. 

   Meanwhile-, there are many terroristic attacks in the US between Arabs and Jews.

   In my mind, I am concerned about all the thousands of immigrants from Venezuela, Mexico, and other countries, without registration and probably by now, unknown whereabouts. Unknowingly, we may have allowed terrorist groups into our country without the ability to track them.

   While our country faces everything from inflation, pandemics, tornados, floods, world unrest, and war, we are looking at politicians to save the world. Why do we not hear the name God? He is our creator, our savior. And why are we not frequenting church more often, saying more prayers? Do many of us believe we are untouchable?

   As Catholics, we profess to believe in God, in heaven and hell, on a Judgement day, however, I am concerned that without enough prayer in our homes and as a family, we may just be headed for a third world war, a war to end all wars.

   I do hope that I am wrong. Still, I pray that we are all praying together for God’s love, grace, and mercy.
