What is Truth?
Where does the grace that comes from God reach our soul in a timely fashion?
We first must accept grace as the very essence of God that comes freely each moment a crisis appears. Without the divine interaction of this silent but real extension of God’s perfect love touching us, anyone of his creatures would fall. Grace has no visible attractions, but as soon as the world’s obvious disasters confront you or me it is there to lift us up from the jaws of evil.
As mysteries are always before us the quest to look into their essence begins a plan of understanding something most will never succeed in accomplishing. The existence of the Holy Trinity, the deepest meaning of God. Eternity, the one entity that all of us will finally reach and live forever with God. From a finite mind the sins we constantly perform are readily forgiven without any manner on our part to earn it. But, grace is a reality that touches each of us and its tenets continually lifts us up, removes dangers, and comes like a silent breath in the night. Perhaps that sign of breathing, as Isaiah experienced at the entrance to the cave where he was waiting for God to appear. This same appearance comes as quickly and without form each moment the bolts of evil are about to snatch away any resemblance of Satan’s power.
Just like the mysteries of God, grace also is mysterious, but unlike their closted existence, grace becomes the very entity that envelops the essence of God. It surrounds our weakened condition when we don’t even realize there is a silent reality that is a forever presence of Christ within us.
Semantics speaks to us at times when discernment is needed. However, if we could number the moments of grace that save our weakened condition, there would not be enough time or words to identify this gift from God. It is the only reality that we don’t see but always are recipients of this loving God.
Speaking of the gentle breeze Isaiah felt it becomes a silent strength that comes without disastrous entities of nature. Yet God does allow these signs of correcting the enemies of God’s creation to occur, but he remains so perfect that only a peaceful breath can be found as the eternal essence of a creator who is. “I AM” is that perfection that is timely for us!
Always ask God for his grace no matter if we are in dire straits or moving along without any sign of a need for his silent breath of security. As much as we believe we’re protected on our own, the need for God’s closeness is never without the terror from evil that seeks to destroy us and those we hold dear to our hearts.
When we least expect it the enemy that constantly is waiting to entrap us will strike the moment our trust in Christ diminishes Keep the mantra “Be with me Lord when I am in trouble” as a simple reminder none of us can stand against the perils of evil that is always on the prowl to seduce the weakest of humanity.
