Riches

Look at all the wealth all around
Like at the brightly lit amazing dawn
Look at the clouds of art way up high
In the vast studio we call the sky
Look too at the art work all around
The flowers grass bushes that spring from the ground
Look at this earth we get to walk upon
The rivers we forge and seas that wave on
The wealth of birds we see that hang out
On limbs lines in flocks all about
How about western mountains in the evening
Or a double rainbow a sign it’s been raining
The blue of the air up above that we need
The water below the ground too indeed
Amazingly these riches are not found in that we call money
They are in God’s creation like the bee’s wonderful honey
Like the four legged creatures that share our habitats
The elephants rhinos kangaroos small dogs and big cats
Or the the billions of sparkles we see every night
When we look at our collection of those that make starlight
How about the trillions of moons galaxies and planets
Nebulas wormholes asteroids black-hole magnets
All this and more by our Father have we been given
Along with His Son our Savior Who reigns too in Heaven
With the Spirit Most Holy, the Paraclete
The Trinity One God yet Persons three
Thank You Father for these riches you’ve bestowed
We offer You daily a prayer of thanksgiving for that You are truly owed
