Living within a Kingdom led by Christ the Lord
Living in a time of unknowns, what is the greatest fear we face?
When we were young and faced the first day of school leaving the comfort of our home, parents, and playtime all day, this new venture became a walk into danger we had to face alone. As each day away from our comfort zone ensued we found other children had the same trauma and that supported our effort to grow stronger.
A maturing adult can reflect on the commonality of stepping into new ventures that may not be conducive to a peaceful existence. However, as adults the tides of change may present itself in ways we don’t want and adjusting to some of these will upset the status quo that seem to disappear.
In the 1950’s I was a paperboy and remember on a Sunday morning while preparing the papers for delivery, the headlines said that the Reds had crossed the 38th parallel in Korea. Waking my parents with the news they told me about the pending action that was about to get us into a police action, as it was called. North Korea still holds a desire to overtake South Korea.
Before this incident was the 2nd world war that put us at odds after the Nation of Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. History has proven the greed for power is prevalent around the globe and those who want to control the rest of humanity is not a foregone conclusion. It began with Cain and Abel in a thrust for power over another equal. Lest we forget, our Creator was also attacked by one who was not an equal, but one who wanted to sit on the throne reserved for God. Watching the news we now sit waiting for the world to explode before our eyes as the Middle East is finally reaching the predicted events where Iran is about to spread the tentacles of evil with a life-long quest to destroy Israel and the Jewish nation.
The fear that just as America was attacked by Japan and we thought it couldn’t happen again; it did on 9/11 where over 3,000 total humans were killed. At one time we were a world power that no one would dare attack. Now, with nuclear weapons at the disposal of too many powers is now an element that should produce fear in everyone.
As I recently wrote, naming the nations that are the enemies to world peace and counter aggressors to God , let us name them once more. Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, and some smaller countries that will join the adversaries to peace and God to remove them from the planet in a final conquest of mankind.
Our only hope is in the hands of God. Christ is coming, we do not know when, but he is soon to be the final conquest and the enemies of God will be conquered. We must pray to God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the end believers will be with this Holy Trinity in Eternity.
