Thank You God, You Are So Amazing!
Are You A Temple For The Holy Spirit?

Corinthians 6:19 – 20 –
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 – you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
If the Holy Spirit is to remain in us and dwell in us, we must keep our temple clean. This means that we must refrain from people and occasions that will lead us to sin. Sex outside of marriage is a sin, drunkenness is a sin, and Entertaining sinful thoughts is willful and therefore, sinful. Breaking any of the Ten Commandments is a sin. Continuing to repeat our sins without sincere sorrow, frequenting the sacraments such as the sacrament of Reconciliation, and missing Mass is sinful.
How and why does this happen so frequently? Many people today live in continuous sin by cohabitating with another to whom they are not married, Excusing themselves by saying; “I cannot receive the sacraments because we are not married, we are living together/” As though it is not their fault, it just happens to be the circumstance they are presently in. Without a Catholic marriage, it is a sin, rather than a sacrament as God is missing. Without marriage, there can be no real commitment, or trust. It is not acceptable either to bring children into the world out of wedlock.
Others lie, steal, or cheat on their spouse without regret and remain in sin. But, there are ten Commandments and many types of sin. While we are all sinners and are weak, we may sin again. Still, in honesty to God and to ourselves, if we have no sorrow or regret, we do not deserve God’s love, mercy, or forgiveness. Yet, he is always there waiting for us to return to Him. He will take us back to him with much love and mercy.
Sincerity and a real desire to please our God and to stop hurting Him is necessary to receive His graces, which will lead us to recovery strength. Recovery from the grasp of Satan. Sad is the fact that when we are sinning we are blinded by darkness and just cannot see the love, strength, mercy and wisdom that God is waiting to bestow on us.
