A Prayer of Thanks
Struggles are good. Though they may not seem so at the time. They help me to strive for the betterment of my soul. They are hard and tedious in the origin of which they come. Always resigning to the fact that I must call upon God and the Saints and Mary to achieve it's final goal. Whether for strength of the day because of tired and weary bones to the perseverance of knowledge to understand why this struggle is happening.
I'm sensitive. Almost too much, to the daily occurrences in my life. The longer I do not resign myself to the lesson of the struggle the longer it stays. Once I surrender to God, I get a Peace and know in my soul that I have overcome that struggle and await the next one. Each time, feeling the strength of God, who is the all knowing and greatest teacher.
We, as humans, I believe, are not that smart. We have to be guided and taught how to rely on the guidance of the inspirations that God sends us. They are there. We just have to figure out what path to take, to take us to the answer. We are children, who need a good and understanding Father who is ready to teach us. The final outcome being, that we depend on His mercy in wanting all that He created, to make it to the final goal, which is Heaven.
Struggles are only hard when we do not resign to HIM in the belief that He WILL help us and take care of things and show us how to find the answers we are so desperately trying to find. Sometimes the answer is right before our eyes, but our pride and desire for the speed of resolvement isn't fast enough. We are creatures of quick fixes. We want it now. But that is not how God works. What student achieves greatness in the subject, that understands the problem immediately? It is only the struggle of trying to find the answer, that it keeps it fresh in our minds and hearts that lasts forever. Notice, our memories are the things that stood out in our lives because many things happen during our years of growth. The good the bad the tender the harsh, were all struggles that were achieved by the struggle of the perception. Also notice, that many times things had to happen over and over to obtain that perception to attain the final goal of appreciation and peace.
It would be so wonderful if we would not have to suffer or plead for strength, but it is the only way to reach the end of the struggle. Therefore, making struggle necessary in our lives to teach us and lead us on the road to Redemption.
