Wisdom 

Having wisdom is being prepared 

Like having oil for your lamps on hand reserved 

Wisdom is knowing when you are wrong

When it’s time to just get up and move along

Wisdom is also a measure of being prudent

Like the difference between a freshman and a graduate student

Our Lord with His great Wisdom has told us be watchful and wary

To keep our lamps lit and full to be fully ready

Ready to attend His upcoming wedding feast

The one we’ve been invited to since birth such a special treat

But be late or not dressed or not ready at all

Then my friend are you in danger of the Great Fall 

The Fall from His Grace His Wisdom for you no more

You’ve unfortunately opened Satan’s unforgiving door

No wedding for you whose life now is about to be a living inferno

Such a shame for now you’ve got an eternity of burning oil

 Amen
