The Most Holy Rosary
What words can I use to describe the love I have for our most Blessed Virgin Mary? None would be great enough to honor her as she should be. Loving, Merciful, Meek, Precious, Motherly, Tender... I could go on and on. I love her. I thank God for her. Her commitment to the Divine Master was done with the words, "Be It done unto me". If only to possess 1 minute of a surrender to God like that!. She was a child, conditioned by the Holy Spirit even before her birth. Chosen by God Himself. How blessed She is! Hail Mary! You ARE so full of grace. All generations have called you blessed and all generations to come revere your Holiness! For thou art the "Mother of God".
Walking around day after day, hidden from the world. She was meek and humble. She bathed and fed our Lord Jesus when He was a baby. She bound up his wounds when he fell as a child. She watched over Him and held Him in the tenderness of her arms. Nurtured Him along with Saint Joseph as Holy role models of a family.
Her presence in our lives is another gift given by God himself. A cherished gift to us to help us and comfort us and give us hope. Only as a true mother can. She stood by the foot of the cradle and then by the foot of the cross. Never leaving Him, never disappointing Him. Always loving Him. What did she tell the stewards who were looking helplessly at her when they ran out of wine at the wedding in Cana? "Listen to Him". So,also must we.
Giving our prayers and supplications to Mary and placing them in Her Holy hands, to give to her Son Jesus, assures us that they are purified. For she is stainless of sin and most Beloved by the Blessed Trinity. She wants to love us like that. She wants to love us like how She loves Jesus .
Invoking Mary to be "our" mother is a gift we give her and which is tender to Her Heart. Our sweet beloved Mother is a Mother to us all. Given to us by Jesus himself.
Let us take and hold our sweet mother in our hearts and keep her close by our side, always repeating the Holy words,
" Hail Mary! Full of grace, the Lord is with You. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb,Jesus. "
