Law 439
Sometimes, when I feel down, and the feeling of being alone tries to creep in, my sweet Guardian Angel makes himself known to me. Sometimes I will feel a tug of my hair, sometimes a soft touch to my arm or shoulder.. Every time I ask him to help me with my work, the work goes on smoothly, as of I had an extra pair of hands and legs. I am never alone.
Remembering that I have so many friends in Heaven, helps me tolerate the insanity of this world. When I pray the "Our Father", and it comes to the part that says "and lead us Not into temptation and deliver us from evil", a Peace comes over me and it's alright to feel alone....... Feeling alone and Being alone are 2 different aspects of the word. I can BE alone because there is no one else physically in the room or I can FEEL alone because of my desire to be around someone else to physically talk to and see. When I decide which one I am experiencing, I always come to the conclusion that I am Never Really Alone...
Even though our eyes can't physically see or touch this "sweet being with wings" that always stands before us or follows us in this journey called life, "they are there". I have seen visible angels everyday in human form. The form of a man that's holding the sign for someone to help him and his family because they are homeless. I see them in the sweet eyes of the old woman who is depending on me because she no longer can do the things she used to do. I see them in the aged old priest who is asking me to remember to pray for his soul after he dies.
We not only have Guardian angels, we have all of the Heavenly Saints. All of the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Jesus, Mary, St Joseph, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. They are there in our every need. All we have to do is open our eyes and hearts.
We are NEVER alone.
