"Oh come, oh come Emmanuel"

    Wow, how quickly did this year go by! Quickly too, will Advent fly by.   Now, how can we make the best use of this time of waiting!!
   Our advent should be one of seeking with all our heart. mind. and soul the presence of Jesus, Emmanuel in our life!

     Like Mary, may we say: "Yes!" "Come Holy Spirit and fill me with Your Gifts that will enable me to truly have Jesus alive in my being."
   Begin this Advent by beginning every day with a time of quiet to draw away and pray. To be still and know, God is with you--God is here already--right there where you are sitting, kneeling or standing. 
    To be aware of God’s presence. just breathe deeply, and ask the Holy Spirit to come in. Take a walk and look at all the beauty of nature around you. Beauty of nature is God’s handiwork, so just say "Wow God Wow," and you are giving God praise!
Also, when you are in the presence of anyone; ones you love are just the total stranger. Look in their eyes, see the beauty of who they are, smile and say: "Wow, what an awesome person you are! Yes, you are for you are one of God's perfect designs!"

     This is how we can be the gift that gives Jesus where ever we are! Speaking to others, the words you yourself would want or need to hear!   Keep on giving and living love wherever you go.

    "Oh come oh come Emmanuel and ransom my heart this day from the world who’s trying to capture my soul."
    Speaking of the world; during Advent choose to limit your screen time your cell phone time to only necessary time. I say that because the screen, the cell phone, the iPad has become more and more a source of idolatry in our life. Also pay attention to the part of Revelations 13, that speaks of the beast!The beast will give himself a 'voice' and an 'image." And to buy and sell---you will have to have a chip and a number on your hand. How many of you like myself, use a credit card every day? It has a chip. It has a number and we buy and sell with it. The same is true of the cell phone and even now the television screen. On the screen of the television, just scan this code with your phone!
     Look at all of the lies that are coming across the media nowadays! What is the truth, what are lies, being spoken or read?
   It is crucial this Advent to draw away, and pray to seek the Lord with all your heart! it is crucial that you choose this day what God you will serve. The screen in any form, or Be in God presence? Choose what god you will serve.  "Hear the Word of God and live!!
   From the reading December first. Lk 21:29-33
Jesus told his disciples a parable.
"Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
When their buds burst open,
you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near;
in the same way, when you see these things happening,
know that the Kingdom of God is near.
