The doctor is in

Can you picture our Lord with a white coat on and a stethoscope around his neck? I can! He's a doctor, besides all of the other qualities He possesses. If you are sick and needing medicine, He provides Holy Communion and Confession. If you are in need of purifiying your wounds, He provides Baptism. If you are in need of revitalization of Spirit, He provides Retreats or The Blessed Sacrament to refresh our inner soul. He has a cure for anything that ails you. He is our everything. When He created the world, He made every kind of vegetable, plant and herb you can possibly think of to provide us with the natural healing intended for use to heal us. 

     He thought of everything! Besides the intricacy of our human bodies, our God thought of the necessary things that help us to stay healthy. He aids my mortal doctor in diagnosis and prescribing anything that is needed when I am sick. 

     We don't have to just be physically sick to need his doctoring expertise. When we are spiritually sick his anecdotes are the perfect cure. He gave us prayer and the sacraments and the big one, Holy Mass. Where we can actually receive Him in Holy Communion. No greater joy is there, to hold Him within our hearts after receiving Him in the Holy Eucharist Our hearts are united with a final promise of His to remain with us always even until the end of time. Remaining in grace and nurturing our souls is all that is needed to cure our ailing hearts.

     This doctor called God, even makes house calls! He is only a thought or a prayer away, from entering our homes, called bodies, if we only ask and tell Him what we need.
