Stairs that lead to Heaven
Sometimes things just don't work out and you find yourself in a situation where you must make certain decisions. Sometimes those decisions will have to include loved ones that will be affected by those decisions. Hopefully in a good way. Even though it me not seem so at the moment, but hopefully realized later, when they're old enough to understand. But never despair. God is watching and will never leave us alone. He will guide us if we are open to Him being the only 1 guide we listen to within our hearts. Many voices will speak to our minds and ears and it can get confusing and scary. Rebuking anything that is not of God is a good way to make His voice the only 1 you hear. Our friends and relatives want what's good for us, but different opinions or controlling words can make your mind fuzzy and too full. That's when you listen to our "holy family" from heaven. Their words are guiding words. Words that are easy to follow and comforting and peaceful.
I thank God that He has allowed me into his "holy family". Having our Blessed Mother Mary to turn to comforts me. Having Jesus to talk to strengthens me. Having Saint Joseph, when asking for surrender to God's Holy will, Enlightens me. When I'm feeling scared or alone, knowing my sweet Guardian Angel is standing right beside me, Calms me.
We are all in God's "Holy Family". Every single 1 of us. We should be grateful, not obstinate. We should be surrendering, not controlling. We should be loving, not calumniate. We wouldn't want to hurt or embarrass our earthly family, so why would we do that to our "holy family" from heaven? Why is it so easy to hurt the ones we love, or should I say the ones we "should" love? We are flesh and blood of God and our ancestors, all the way back to the beginning of time. They lie within our very being. That includes, Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph, St. Anne, and St. Joachim our Grandparents. The list goes on and on and on. We are in a generational family. A "holy family". A family that is waiting there with open arms ready to embrace us and love us back.
Thank you oh God! For letting ME be in your "Holy Family".
