What Happened, and Why?

Chapter 5 
*While all were asleep--the Christmas story continues
Going outside, first they look up at the sky. They feel a gentle breeze and see the fluttering of the leaves on the trees. A child notices, the leaves are dying and falling.
"Why do leaves die? Why does bad stuff happen like wars, shootings and well all bad stuff?
"The Word of God or the Bible tells us, my child, that if we do not obey being good and living in love----well then we will pay the price. Like when you touch a flame----you learn fire is hot. the only way we learn our lessons in life is by our mistakes, and seeing what bad others do too.
For us to Love as God loves and live in love and obey His Word ---mankind was given a free will so they could choose to do good. If we do not have freewill ---we would just be like a robot--and only do as a robot is programmed to do. I believe this is how we are made in God's image---we are able to love--for God is perfect and so all loving, merciful and forgiving. For that is what love is. Love is kind, does not find fault, patient, understanding, and love endures over all."
" But, how can I not be confused or angry at bad stuff happening?"
This requires us to trust in God's love. Know that all happens for a purpose and a reason. To teach us, to discipline us, and to help us love with more understanding and forgiveness. For all are human, and therefore all will make mistakes or sin is another word for it. That is the reason why there is Christmas---out of Love, God the Father had to send His own self to earth, by sending His Son--Jesus. Only by becoming human, could someone really teach and reach the minds of all humans. And only too, could God show what it really means to love. By giving up your life for another---that is truly love. Like being parents, comes at a great cost but you, my child are so worth it. You are a great gift from God to us. And your happiness is all we want for Christmas.
Look at all of what was created---all give up their life, their purpose for our sake---for our salvation. Without trees, no air to breath. Without any of the insects, birds, creatures, plants ----we would not have life--for all work together by God's perfect recipe to provide for us. And because of all created---we see His glory everywhere!!
His Word or the Bible tells us that even the trees of the field will clap their hands and praise God when humans do not. The creatures of the field, the birds in the air or in the trees, too! All sing their praise to God. Listen, do you hear all their different voices,including insects?"
"I do, and that is so amazing!''  Why don't we go inside and 'google' all the types of birds and insects on the computer?"
"Great ideal, we could spend hours on the computer googling all the types of different varieties of birds, insects, flowers--everything and you will be so totally amazed of the beauty of all that came into being by God's perfect design! Would you rather do that with us, then play those computer games?"
YES OH YES--lets do this!"
