I Will Return 

Off he went in a whirlwind of fire

Elijah the prophet in a chariot drawn by horses

No longer bogged down by earthen mire 

He raised a corpse from the dead

By the word of God on High

While on a journey on a road he did tread

Proclaiming the Lord God of Heaven is King

Not the pagan gods like Baal and others

No he proclaimed He Who Ruled Over Everything 

He said he would come back so have trust

To ready this earth for the great coming 

The coming of Jesus Christ 

And so he did return as the great Baptist John 

John who began the great proclamation 

To ready the way for God’s only Son

Jesus Who came to spread the Good News 

Listen and heed My words He said

For these are the way to avoid salvation blues
