Do Not Be Afraid 

A child will be born to your betrothed 

So do not run dear Joseph you are so beloved

This Babe He will be an amazing Gift

And only possible by God don’t feel bereft 

For you’re wanted Joseph now please don’t fear

Mary and the Little One both need you here

More shall be told you upon the birth

But now is time to prepare their berth

For you are now part of the Heavenly Family

Joy not dread should fill you every day

Soon you will be the earthly Father of God

Jesus the Messiah whom all will laud.
