Today
Our Holy priest's are very important to the spiritual well being of our souls. From every parish priest to the great missionaries, to the contemplative priests, monks and friar's, all the way to the Vatican, where our Holy Father, the Pope reigns as our Shepherd, speaking for God and hopefully with words of prophetic grace to lead each and everyone of us to the heavenly kingdom, Heaven.
We must never speak ill of any priest, to either our hearts or other people. They're hands are consecrated. Many have gone astray due to the lack of prayer for sanctity and the holiness of purity. Because of neglect on our part to always ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to keep them protected against all evil. They are humans, and so, capable of falling into even greater temptation or sin because the devil hates them more than he hates us, Because they are consecrated Instruments of God and have the holy power of God to forgive sins and change the bread and wine into the precious Body and Blood of Jesus, our eternal High Priest.
The world is no more complicated than when in the past. We, have become victims of Satan's diabolical influence because we have sought to fall prey to the evil ideas of the 7 deadly sins. Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony and Sloth, all beginning with the 1st, which is Pride. The evil 1 is wicked and tricks us with his different approaches to each of these sins. Whispering in our ear the way he does. The same way he did to Adam and Eve. Have we not learned anything? Have I not learned anything?
Praying for the sanctity and protection of all priests is like insuring our protection and guidance of the Holy 1 above...the Eternal, Almighty High priest. Mary is especially loving towards those who hold the honor of lifting Her Son's most precious Body and Blood at the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass. Jesus Himself resides at the Holy Mass through the visual and consecrated hands of the priest. Offering Himself over and over all through the world. A lamb, a spotless lamb, to His Father in Heaven.
Besides all the other wonderful Sacraments our Holy priests perform, they are our Shepherds and we are they're sheep. Waiting and listening for direction, comfort and strength.
Please pray for priests. That they remain as holy and as sanctified as on the day of their ordination. The day they said "yes" to God.
