A time to laugh
I don't need to go across every verse that refutes "once saved always saved", (it's all of them), but, I do want to take time to discuss those sins which are worse than others. Now, of course we have the classic proof text from 1 John 5:16-17, but I want to focus on something a little different. I will be using the King James Version because my glasses broke (on the feast of St. Lucy at that!) and it's the largest print Bible that I have. Anyway, I am sharing this, not to judge you or condemn you, but because I am a fellow sinner, the same as you. And if you're stuck in one of these sins, don't be paranoid, there's always time to repent so long as you're still alive.
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Of course, some will counter "but he's not talking about Christians", and to which I would say, go back and read 1 Corinthians. Of course, the next verse gives us hope, which is good. But notice something, Paul doesn't say "except for the Christians".
No. He lists these sins as a warning to everyone, but keep in mind that he is writing to Christians. It's easy for us to think he's talking primarily about other people, because even non-Christians have access to the Bible, now. But, this was not always so. 1) Consider the fact that Paul was still WRITING much of the New Testament, and, 2) Paul's letters were, by and large, occasional.
And, here's the important thing, he also warns Christians in Ephesus. So, it seems to me, Paul thinks this is of utmost concern. Consider Ephesians 5:5, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God". So, does Paul give words of encouragement like he does in 1 Corinthians 6:11? Eventually, yes, but he also doubles down. Read the rest of the verses yourself. I really want to focus on Ephesians 5:7, which I think really gives the context to this. "Be not ye therefore partakers with them". It doesn't say, "unless you've accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour". If Paul is telling Christians this, then it seems to me that Paul believes their salvation could very well be lost.
The reason I am telling you this, is because I am warning y'all. I am also warning MYSELF. I'm a sinner, and so are you. And if we do these things, we will NOT inherit the kingdom.
Always remember, there is time to repent.
