Tis the season all year round

During the Christmas season, we often hear the phrase “tis the season.” This refers to this time of you being known for the generosity of society as we give gifts and donations to others. This sentiment is impressive, but it leaves something to be desired.

It is not that giving during the Christmas season is wrong, but instead that we should pause and ask ourselves why don’t we act this way year-round. The simple answer is being generous can be challenging at times. We are all on a budget, and with inflation on the rise, it seems more challenging than ever to give to others. This is all the more reason why giving can genuinely make a positive difference.

As the Christmas season passes, we should reflect on this and carry the idea of giving into the new year. Perhaps simply trying to carry on the sentiments of the Christmas season will allow us all to change the world.
