How beautiful your song Mary

The words so humbling indeed

Born were you for this great deed 

You the Mom of the Holy Family 

Humbly you describe His Life

His Power Strength His Might 

You whom God the Father of Day and Night

Has chosen to be His Son’s Mom and Joseph’s wife 

What a great man your Son Jesus will be

The Salvation Bearer none other 

Born of you o pure maiden his Mother 

Born to save and set the world free 

His promises will be so mighty 

His words with meaning truly strong 

Described so well in your beautiful song

That we all recite joyfully 

About the mighty and the lowly

The down trodden and the poor

Those who are tired and sore

And the conceited who will pay

This song it is a promissory

That your Son will make for all you see

For those who were who are and who will be

That He will forever love us all eternally 

The Magnificat 

Luke 1:46-56 

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;

my spirit rejoices in God my savior.

for he has looked upon his lowly servant.

From this day all generations will call me blessed;

the Almighty has done great things for me,

 and holy is his Name.

He has mercy on those who fear him

 in every generation.

He has shown the strength of his arm,

 and has scattered the proud in their

 conceit.

 thrones

and has lifted up the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things,

 and the rich he has sent away empty.
