The Other
He is the other Jesus loved the favorite of He
Who was born in a manger to set all of us free
The young one who laid his head upon His chest
Yes the Disciple whom Jesus loved best
Faster than the rest was he the Apostle John
To His tomb he arrived he the first one
He entered first before the others
His faith not shaken like his sisters and brothers
He knows his Lord is not hidden
He has a small inkling that He has Risen
His Faith not rattled his beliefs not shaken
He truly knows his Lord is the Ruler of Heaven
The Light The Word The Way The Son
Jesus the Lord our Savior The One
Believe we must as the Apostle Saint John the favorite one
For without true faith in Jesus all will be lost all will be taken
Amen
