Hyperinflation and More Signs of the End of the Age - Part 1
Living in God’s Presence – Part 2

How do we represent God on the earth? An old country and western song comes to mind. One of the verses says, “Let me be a little meeker with the brother that is weaker.” Let us treat that brother or sister with gentleness and respect. Let us be kind to all, assist them in any way that we can especially family members, the sick, and the elderly. This type of action does not stop when a person dies. We pray for all on a constant basis so that the deceased may attain the beatific vision of God in heaven and the living a full and blessed life.
Another verse of that song says, “to let me be a little more cheery when I am weary”. In any season of life all people go through setbacks in life. The setbacks can be financial, personal, or loss of friends and family members during the year or over many years. Pray for these people, and should you meet someone as described, be kind to them. Often, a small word of encouragement will brighten their day and lift the heavy load that these people carry.
Another verse says, “Let me think a little more of others and a little less of me.” This constitutes love of neighbor as I love myself.” When we think of others, we are living God’s plan for all humanity. If we are baptized and remain in the state of grace, we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within us. When we think more of others, we think more of God and service to Him through the service to others. This is the true Christian message. When we follow these simple ideas, we become Jesus Christ’s hands and feet in the world and hopefully hasten his second coming.
There is another song that states that if every day were like Christmas, what a wonderful world this would be. Service to God through service through others would bring that message in part to fulfillment. We must also worship the Triune Godhead to complete making every day like Christmas. How do we worship God? We pray by ourselves or with our families. We should be attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation or more often if we can. We should feast on the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, receive other sacraments and read the daily scriptures and meditate on those words. This is how we grow in our Christian life.
It is now time to give credit where credit is due. The first song is entitled “A Little Less Of Me” as sung by Henson Cargill. Elvis Presley sang the second song about Christmas.
Until next time, Laus Tibi, Christe. Deo Gratias. Gloria Tibi Domini. Praise be to God. See you in Paradise. Amen.
