It has been said somewhere that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Though it is nowhere in the Bible, scriptures teach that we are body, spirit and soul. And each one deserves nurture. We need our bodies to be healthy, our souls to be healed and our spirit to be filled.

We are heading to the new year and I'm not suggesting resolutions because they are too easily broken. I am advocating devotion. Devotion to our bodies for good health that we may serve God as the temple of the Holy Spirit, devotion to our soul that we may be healed and fully dedicated to God the Father, and devotion to our spirit that we may be free from sin and filled with heavenly peace and joy.
