Easter reminds us that good times come after bad
Leaders are human. Humans are flawed. This includes me, and it includes you too. Even those people we look up to, those who are our leaders are not perfect.
Why do we follow them? We follow then because we believe they are on a path toward becoming better, and we hope they will help us become better. What happens, however, if a leader does something that we don’t like? Our first thought might be to hate them.
To oppose everything they say and to try to bring them down. Creating this hate will not make them a better leader, nor will it make them a happier person. Instead of choosing to hate rather, you should relate. Remind yourself that in the same situations, you might not do any better. Remember that you don’t know the entire situation like the leader does.
Instead of hating them, see if there is a way that you can help them. Rather than trying to take a lousy leader down, you should strive to help raise a good leader. Step up and see what you are made of, and grow with the leader. If you can not do anything else, at the very least, pray for the leader.
In a small way, you can make a difference. Any chance you get, be sure to relate rather than hate.
