Born was this Child for the world to see

The rise and fall of many was His Destiny 

To you His Mother his comforter on Earth down here 

The Man the King the Babe Whom the shepherds did revere 

Sent by His Father to right Adam’s wrong

For this incredible feat did all the world long

But to accomplish His agenda a sword will have to pierce 

You His Blessed Mother from they who killed Your Son so fierce 

All this were you told at this His Christening 

By a man named Simeon who is simply fulfilling 

His prophetic role to You the Child’s Mom and Joseph His Dad

For today continues a prophecy so wonderful and yet heartbreaking and sad

For you Dearest Mary will have your heart truly broken 

Until He arrives that Sunday morning alive your Son truly risen

For this Child today you brought to present to God

Is His Beloved Son Jesus Who is the Messiah the Living Word
