Finally, It Makes Sense

         Many of us have heard about the triumph of Mary’s Immaculate Heart.  After the entire world has come through many woes including the three days of darkness, there will be an era of peace for the entire world before all of us go through the last judgment.

         All of us should have read the Book of Revelations where Saint John the Apostle while in exile on the island of Patmos is given visions of the end times.  Having done much meditation and prayer on both subjects, I have a theory that might fulfill both prophecies.  I remind you that this only a theory and not religious dogma. 

         The Book of Revelations reveals that there will be 1,000 years of peace during the millennial rule of Christ.  Up until recently, I have always had problems with what John wrote and reality.  Now, I see that John was describing in first century terms and language what the latter days would be.  For instance, the image of the beast that speaks can now be explained through a recent development known as artificial intelligence.  It is known in today’s words as “AI”.  I have written about the wonders of modern technology in a previous entitled “Technology and Religion”.

         I believe that the three days of darkness will begin the Great Tribulation.  At the end of the Great Tribulation when the beast, the antichrist and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire and Satan is chained for 1,000 years, Jesus will come to rule all nations including raising the just from the dead.  This is considered the First Resurrection.  That will be a grand family reunion for me.

         This is the beginning of 1,000 years of peace and prosperity on earth where all people will learn to live as brothers and sisters in peace.  This can also mark the beginning of the triumph of Mary’s Immaculate Heart when there will be peace and understanding.  After 1,000 years of peace, Satan is then unchained and tries to make war with the saints and all the peoples of earth.  Jesus crushes this rebellion, sends Satan and his fellow devils to the lake of fire, raises the balance of the dead, judges everyone, and purifies the earth so that He and all the righteous can live forever on a renewed earth.

         Jesus will then be physically present with us and He will rule the earth with justice and mercy.  That is a wonderful thought to end this current year.  Come, Lord Jesus come.
