Because of the hardness of your hearts

Did Moses finally decree you could have a divorce 

I the Lord speak otherwise

I never said this I can tell no lies

No divorce I exclaim unless unfortunately cheating occurs

Then free are you to leave from those terrible adulterers 

You may not get along but you will not leave your spouse 

Work it out or split up inside your house

But leaving each other selfishly 

No I the Lord say and I do not take this lightly 

For marriage is between a man and woman and is more than a commitment 

It is a pure Heavenly consummation a joining to unity event

It is for two in love who come before the Lord

To join together as one with Him He Who is our God

Joined now with Him no longer two but one

Now a unity of love forever the three have they become 

This marriage game though is not for all 

Some never play for they did not receive that call

Some will invoke marriage religiously 

Joined with God and living in a convent or rectory 

But serve Him alone they can and do singly 

For being one with Him is the definition of joint unity

And yes everyone must serve the Lord the God of All with zeal

Because if not there may be awaiting an entrance to Satan’s fiery Hell
