Angels have wings
We all go to church to pray to God and to work on our spirits. The congregation is made of sinners, not saints. No one who goes to church is perfect, and no one who does not go to church is perfect.
We are all human beings. With this thought in mind, there is a chance that anytime we go to church, we will see someone we do not like there. This person could have wronged us or others, and we are simply aware of it. How are we to handle this?
The first thought would be to scowl and scoff at them. Why is such a wrong person at church? Well, that is the very point. We all attend church to improve our spirits and make amends for past mistakes. With that in mind, the very worst of us should then go to church the most! What do we then do when we see someone we dislike at church?
We should smile at them. Be happy that they are there just as you to pray to God and work on improving. We are there to foster love, not hate. Start by acting out the church's teachings in the church itself and then carry them outside.
Anytime you feel the urge to hate, smile about something instead. You might find that your life becomes much happier as you do this.
