God's Army

I know that God is Almighty and that His power is Invincible. He's proved it time and time again throughout history and throughout my life. Fear is a horrible thing. It's probably why it is one big attribute of the evil one. Sometimes I forget how all powerful are Lord really is and succumb to worry. Getting me absolutely nowhere but an upset stomach and a weary mind. That's how the devil gets you. When you are sick and tired from worrying.

     God's Army is so powerful and mighty enough to conquer the whole world's armies. He is so Omnipotent, that the powers of this world, lurking around, would have no chance to succeed if God were to raise His mighty hand.

     I guess being human, I sometimes ask the question, "why are there so many innocent people dying in these senseless and cruel wars, that have gone on in the past and still go on today". Power, greed, arrogance, and just plain evil, is the only reason I can think of. Our world today is like an arena in Roman times. Where the innocent get taken away because of their pureness of heart. Nothing is really changed from the old standards that were incorporated thousands of years ago. The only difference is we watch it on our TVS instead of seated at the Roman coliseum......

     God surely is a patient and merciful God. Because you know if it were you or me, it would not be withstandable. We are weak in nature. We need the strength of God's Army to teach us how to be strong in combat. The Angels of heaven, have a strong and mighty warrior named Saint Michael the Archangel. He leads the Army for God and he's got many heavenly and earthly warriors trained and in training.

     I'm going to pray more daily, to be 1 of God's warriors in "His Army". I see no greater cause to fight for the love and justice that belongs to God and God alone. Saint Michael, help me, teach me....
