We all have edges. We all have "spikes". It can show in those tense moments when we are rubbing each other wrong. Sometimes we don't even know it. Often it takes the other to show us where these edges are. As believers we have access to the power from on high to help us. By the Holy Spirit we have a helper in all things, including our relationships and our rough edges.
Galatians 5:22–23 (LEB): 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self control. Against such things there is no law.
If we keep close to the Holy Spirit, scriptures and a holy lifestyle, we can smooth out those edges. We have to stay open and attentive to the movement of the Spirit in our lives. Then the edges will not be so rough.
