Come Holy Spirit

I used to think the Holy Spirit is what God left for us after the Holy death of Jesus our Redeemer. I still believe this, but added to it, I learned that it is the Love between God and His Son manifested in the form of a pure white dove. How beautiful an image for our minds and souls to behold. For God "is" Love, and what sweeter way to proclaim His ever lasting power then to send a white bird to fly into our souls to comfort, guide and inspire us to remain with the Most Holy Trinity.

     We are blessed by this mystery as Catholics and how comforting  to know we have 3 powers in 1 watching over us. God our Creator, Jesus our Redeemer , and the Most Holy Spirit, to fill us with love...

     We must, with gratitude, daily thank our Father for this great gift. How much more can He prove that He is the one and only God? There are mysteries that will only be revealed to us once we enter the gates of Heaven, and this is the ultimate 1. Faith is the key to our knowledge and trust that God will watch over and take care of us as His children. How sweet He is to give us our earthly mothers and fathers, as hopefully, role models of His greatness and assurance that He, as our Father, takes care of us from heaven.

     There are so many, that are deprived of this great treasure and we must for pray for those who have been led astray from this fact. Never forget those who are less fortunate than us. This whole world needs lots of prayers. We need lots of prayers to guard us from the evil that lies before us daily. The Holy Spirit will protect us. For from Him stems hope and love and forgiveness. He possesses many gifts. 7 in fact, That can help us in our quest to attain heaven. Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel , Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord. Each 1 creates in us a shield against all evil. Praying for these gifts daily helps strengthen us as much as they strengthened the Holy Martyrs in the arena in Rome facing the terrors of such great tortures. We can unlock the Holy power of God by learning that the Fear of God is the most important. It is easy to forget where the true power is coming from for we can do nothing without Him who strengthens us. Pride is a swift tool of the evil one and he uses it daily.  Praying for God to release us from this evil is genuinely given to all who ask for it. Because, I believe, God truly wants us to surrender ourselves totally to Him...... In humility and reverence to HIM who created us.

     "Come Holy Spirit, enkindle in us the Fire of His Divine Love, send forth thy Spirit and thou shalt be created and thou shalt renew the face of this earth." Amen
