Imagine That

Imagine that you’ve been called to come forward 

By Him the One you think truly is the Lord

To meet him by special invitation only

Along with the other eleven who too come willingly 

They say in their actions we have nothing to lose 

We trust what you say Sir so it’s You we choose 

You whom we will follow because you’ve touched each heart

Now to You we go from our families do we part

What courage strength and honor have they

These twelve unremarkable who each choose to become His protégé 

Imagine now that you’re called too

How would you answer what would you do

To follow He who claims He is the Chosen One

And too He claims He’s truly God’s Divine Son

The question lies before you now and every day

Imagine that it’s true for real for it is and now close your eyes and pray 

Imagine how you too can be one of His Chosen 

The road is hard and rough but your reward is with Him in Heaven 

Imagine that a life of eternal joy with the King of Creation 

Or an eternity of pain under Satan’s dominion 

Amen
