Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Chastity is so important in it's respect for God. Our bodies are mirrors of reverence to our Creator. Why do you think so many Saints took that vow? Because of it's purity. Sex is not just a game. It's Holy and intended from the power of God, to unite a man and woman in marriage. To bring forth other sweet creations of God's and to celebrate together with Him this new life.
Stressing this fact, even in the beginning, when God made Adam and Eve. After they sinned, they realized they were naked. The importance of this fact is to be realized that they were no longer looking at life or each other through the eyes of God, but thru fallen mankinds eyes. Not Pure and Holy, but earthly and self seeking. Only thru disobedience to God could this have ever been fulfilled and it's just like us, as stupid humans, to be so prideful that we not only listen to the lies of the evil one but that our trust in the Most Holy One gets tainted by our own prideful admonition to our egos. When we give up everything for God's honor, I believe, He looks upon it with great love and respect for us, therefore blessing us with knowledge and insight into His great treasures, where He assures us, that they are ours if we obey Him.
Our sweet generation of girls are being taught these days, that it is all right to dress scantily and have sex before marriage. Their bodies are their own they are taught, so do what you want. WRONG! Personally, as a woman, I think it's degrading and a disgrace to us AS women, to be seen barely clad or posing in magazines lustfully and indecent. I feel offended. That's not why God made us different from men. We, (as women), were made to procreate and to be perfect partners to man. What an Honor. To hold with in our own bodies another life, and to portray the perfect example of a Woman, Our Beloved Blessed Mother Mary.
Undefiled, Undefeated, Never-Changing, are the Laws and Words of God our Father. Who leads us to a richer life where Honor and Glory are rightfully His. May we be Chaste in all of our Actions, Displays, and Words, as we Revere the God who created us.
